Even though it is peaceful and far away from mass tourism, Port-Louis is an attractive commune for its great geographical location, which offers an exceptional view of the Basse Terre mountains just opposite. You can also do nautical activities in peace. This small, calm, and peaceful commune has some of the most beautiful, wild beaches in Guadeloupe.

In Port-Louis, you can go diving and surfing, two activities that are very highly rated by local families and tourists, among other things. The diving spots are filled with majestic caves, spectacular corals, and multicolored fish which professional instructors will be happy to show you.

You will be able to visit the Beauport sugar factory, which is part of Guadeloupe’s cultural heritage, in Port-Louis, the land of the sugar cane. You will stop at Guadeloupe’s sugar growing area.
