îlet Caret and îlet Fajou on a motor catamaran

This 11-meter-long catamaran allows you to sail safely in the comfort of a luxury boat. A trip in small groups (12 people maximum) that is ideal to enjoy this natural area which was classified as a “Biosphere reserve” by UNESCO in 1994. Go through the mangrove and then discover the wild and natural islets (permission to dock at îlet Fajou), as well as the biggest coral reef in the Lesser Antilles. Your crew will tend to your every need and offer you (unlimited) drinks and prepare a meal for you that matches this dream day.

You will depart from the Gosier marina at 8:00 (meet up at 7:45). You may stop at the Pointe à Pitre market on the journey on the Rivière Salée (only upon request of a group). You will then go back on the Rivière Salée to get to the Grand Cul de Sac Marin’s lagoon. There, you will discover the mangrove and its complex ecosystem. You will go through îlet Fajou (nature reserve).

Drinks are provided during the meal, like for the rest of the day.

Stop on a shipwreck for a quick underwater visit. You will dive around a shipwreck and discover the Lesser Antilles’ big coral reef (over 25 kilometers long). You will be able to appreciate the rich biodiversity with countless species of tropical fish, turtles, rays, starfish…

Stop on Ilet Caret, a little confetti of white sand. It came out of nowhere after movements caused by the joint action of the decomposition of dead corals, underwater movements, tectonic shifts, and the wind and sea… it is doomed to disappear… so you must go see it!

At around midday, on the outskirts of îlet Caret, you will be offered an aperitif of home-made fish rillettes and terrines with Ti-Punch, home-made Planteur, and fruit juice. The discovery of the Grand Cul de Sac Marin will then continue with a stop near îlet Fajou, where you will have a meal with grilled fish and chicken. Your meal will be served in the shade of the cover on the boat by your crew. It will come with salad and rice to which fresh seasonal fruit will be added for dessert.

The afternoon is for swimming, watching the local wildlife and plants, and farniente.

The return to Gosier with Caribbean music is planned for 17:00.

• Don’t forget that a big part of the Grand-Cul-de-Sac-Marin is a protected Nature Reserve. It is very important to respect this fragile environment: you are not allowed to take anything, you must avoid touching the corals in particular, and you must respect the environment… for the rest: treat yourself, have fun, and enjoy this magical setting!
• We ask our passengers to arrive at 7:45  to proceed to boarding.
