1/2 day and day in the mangrove, Caret, shipwreck

Discover the Grand-Cul-de-Sac-Marin from Ste Rose during an exceptional half-day or full day with a Caribbean meal included. You will get to Ilet Caret on this speed boat, in a small group. It is in ideal trip to discover the mangrove, its wildlife and plants thanks to perfect explanations from either Marie-Laure or Jordan. Dive into the big coral reef and into a shipwreck in a friendly atmosphere where good spirits are guaranteed.

Activity details

Full day at Ilet Caret and the mangrove:

Set off from the Sainte-Rose fishing harbor at 8:00 to Ilet Caret, where you will enjoy a little welcome drink with your feet in the water. The morning will be full of freedom, contemplations, and swimming and/or farniente. A barbecued Caribbean meal will be made on the spot.

• Starter: fish and salad
• Main course: smoked chicken and local vegetables gratin (breadfruit, chayote or other).
• Dessert: flambéed bananas
• Drinks, juice, planteur, Punch, water, red wine and rosé available
• Coffee or tea

After the meal, you will head to the Grand-Cul-de-Sac-Marin and the mangrove for a guided tour. You will then get to dive into the shipwreck and the big coral reef (masks and snorkels provided). At around 15:30, you will peacefully depart for Ste Rose by going through Ilet aux oiseaux, and your captain will still be providing detailed explanations. You will get to admire the different birds, pelicans, herons, terns that inhabit this exceptional vegetation.

Your return is planned for around 16:00. This very informative and pleasant day will enchant you.

Half-day in the Grand-Cul-de-Sac-Marin:

Meet up for boarding at the Sainte Rose fishing harbor at 7:45 or 12:45 depending on the time that you chose. The departures are at 8:00 and 13:00. On the agenda: exploring the shipwreck, searching for its inhabitants, exotic multicolored fish, starfish, and shellfish. You will then go to the big coral reef for another dip or snorkel dive.

You will stop at Ilet Caret for a snack (sugary or salty depending on the time) and drinks (Punch, planteur, water, juice) with your feet in the water. After the snack, you will go back to the Sainte Rose harbor at 12:00 or 17:00 depending on the deal that you chose.

In the event that the trip gets cancelled, it will be rescheduled free of charge.
