Discovery Pack

The discovery pack is for those who may not have the time to do the 6 dives required to get the level 1 diving certificate. Thanks to its 3 training dives, it allows you to start your level 1 course which can then be completed in another FFESSM-approved club.

Level 1 course

6-dive course that allows you to go up to 20 meters underwater under the supervision of an instructor. Participants who have never dived before will have to do a diving baptism (not included).

With the level 1 certificate, you will be able to:
  • Dive up to 20 meters underwater with a supervisor
  • Know, use, and maintain your equipment
  • Communicate underwater thanks to the main signals
  • Follow the basic safety rules

Level 2 course

10-dive course that allows you to dive independently in certain conditions.

With the level 2 certificate, you will be able to:
  • Dive up to 20 meters underwater on your own
  • Dive up to 40 meters underwater in deep water with a supervisor.
  • Help your partner

Level 3 course

10-dive course that allows you to build on your level 2 course and become more independent, and even organize your own dive (in the absence of the diving instructor)

With the level 3 certificate, you will be able to:
  • Dive up to 40 meters underwater on your own
  • Dive up to 60 meters underwater with a supervisor.

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) courses

Open Water Diver

6-dive course which is similar to the level 1 diving course and which allows you to go up to 20 meters underwater. The Open Water Diver course is the most popular diving course in the world

With the Open Water course, you will be able to:
  • Dive up to 20 meters underwater with a dive master (two to five divers together)
  • Abroad and, depending on the region, dive up to 18 meters underwater with a partner.

Advanced Open Diver

5-dive course that allows you to build on the Open Water course. 2 of the 5 “adventure dives” are mandatory: the deep dive (between 18 and 40 meters underwater) and the navigation dive.

With the Advanced Open Diver certificate, you will be able to:
  • In France, dive up to 20 meters underwater with a partner and up to 30 meters underwater with a certificate of competence issued by diving club or center.
  • Abroad and, depending on the region, dive up to 30 meters underwater with a partner.

Included

  • Full diving kit
  • Theory lessons, dive log, and certificate

What to bring

  • Justification of your diving level for level 1 divers or those who have done a diving baptism.
