Activity details

Board on one of our boats for a SEATOUR trip during which you will go on an unforgettable underwater hike.

From the Guadeloupe Aquarium, let yourself be guided by our diving instructors, who are certified by the state, and who will be your guides and show you the extraordinary wealth of the Grand Cul-de-sac Marin. Explore the Guadeloupe National Park’s nature reserve through the mangrove and the animals that inhabit it, the lagoon with its islands and underwater prairies, and the biggest coral reef in the Lesser Antilles which shelters thousands of multicolored fish. Explored the Grand Cul-de-sac Marin’s protected locations, where the richness and beauty of the wildlife and plants will amaze you.

This vast nature reserve, which was classed as a world biosphere reserve by Unesco in 1992, is closed by a 25-kilometer-long coral reef. It is brimming with surprising tropical animal and plant species. The Aquarium crew has chosen the richest and most peaceful locations to get you started with marine biology.

The instructors inform the participants about the rules regarding the preservation and protection of the ecosystems that they will meet and the environment in general.

The SEATOUR, which is ideal for the family, does not require any training and is accessible to children, as well as elderly people. The instructors will adjust to your level and will be with you for your entire snorkeling dive to ensure your safety and answer your questions. That way, you will be able to discover the underwater life (0 to 3 meters deep) in peace.

In terms of equipment, the Aquarium has two semi-sturdy, 7.50-meter-long boats that have benches and a cover to protect you from the sun. All of the snorkeling gear is provided (fins, mask, snorkel, shorty wetsuit, inflatable boards, vests, buoys, boards to help you identify the animals and plants). The Aquarium’s nautical base has changing rooms, showers, toilets in the shade of the coconut trees, and a view of the marina.

During the SEATOUR, the instructors have a waterproof camera to take pictures of you on the boat and during the underwater hike. You can then download them for free from the Aquarium’s website.

With SEATOUR, you will be offered a free tour of the Guadeloupe Aquarium.
