Contrary to mass tourism, he will only choose to share the most remote and original places of this vast territory with you. Activity details
Vincent, son of a fisherman, your skipper and local guide, knows Guadeloupe’s history like the back of his hand. He knows how to alternate between the big historical events for the Guadeloupean culture and explanations of the local wildlife and plants through several locations that are rich in history, much to your delight.
Vincent will always listen to you and will take pleasure in answering your questions during the circuit which he can adjust to the preferences of each group.
Half-day circuit: 35€/person
You will start your trip from the town of Morne à l’eau with a 6km sail through the canal des Rotours (from the name of the baron who began the canal’s construction in 1826) at the heart of the mangrove. You will get an explanation of its history and will get to watch the wildlife and plants of the mangrove that borders the canal. You will arrive in the grand cul de sac marin and stop at îlet Macou for about 45 minutes. It is a little-known islets that is very charming and has a little chapel and a meditation room, among other things, that you will discover with Vincent.
You will then go through îlet aux oiseaux to watch the many species that are nesting there. After that, you can go snorkeling (gear provided) in the ilet Fajou nature reserve’s crystal waters. Peaceful return trip to the starting point.

You can swim and do farniente before going back to Morne à l’eau for 16:30 by going through îlet aux oiseaux to watch the many species nesting there (expect some beautiful colors at the end of the day here).

You must pay by cash at the boat (no credit cards or checks)
We can pick up groups of at least 4 adults at the cruise terminal or Gosier hotel (10€/person for a round trip)
There is the possibility to make the boat private starting from 7 people
