In-Depth Tour of Grand Cul de Sac

Explore the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, setting off from Gosier Marina. Discover the Rivière Salée and Îlet Caret, go snorkelling, and enjoy a homemade lunch with your feet in the water on a quiet beach. Savour the natural diversity and local flavours on a day trip led by Captains Lolo or Erick.

After setting off at 9am, Erick or Lolo (depending on the captain’s availability) will take you towards Pointe-à-Pitre, where you’ll pass the ACTe Memorial to admire this building with a contemporary style unique to the Caribbean. To reach the Grand cul-de-sac Marin, you’ll travel via the Rivière Salée. Your captain and guide will introduce you to the mangrove ecosystem as you navigate through small canals. Once in the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, you’ll explore the coral reef before heading to Îlet Caret for your first stop, where you can relax on its fine sandy beach. Your guide will also take you to the lagoon in the Fajou Nature Reserve for a spot of snorkelling. Next, head for Pointe Sable, between Port-Louis and Petit Canal. You’ll pass by small beaches accessible only by boat.
