The experience

A half-day (morning or afternoon) to explore the large marine backwater up close. In groups of four per boat, which you’ll steer yourself, you’ll cross the mangrove swamp and travel up the Moustique River, then go snorkelling on the coral reef (with flippers, mask and snorkel), before finally relaxing on a white sandy islet. A guided tour with commentary by a local enthusiast.

Are you drawn to the mangroves and the seabed? You’re absolutely right! Set off for a half-day trip in the morning or afternoon to discover this unique natural environment: the red mangroves and their unusual aerial roots, strangely rooted in the water. The Grand Cul de Sac Marin, part of which is designated a nature reserve within the Guadeloupe National Park, awaits you with all its wealth of unique flora and fauna.

  • “An absolute must for the whole family!”
  • “A magnificent landscape, perfect explanations from a passionate nature lover, and a sense of absolute calm!”
  • “DON’T MISS THIS TRIP – it’s simply extraordinary!!!”
  • “A passionate and engaging guide, who is a wealth of information and knows exactly how to handle children of all ages.”
  • “Quite simply a dream come true – just like on a postcard, but for real this time!!” @@“By far the most beautiful excursion of our trip, very enriching”
  • “An unforgettable experience!!! Thank you so much for this brilliant afternoon."

You can choose to set off in the morning from Sainte-Rose at 8.00 am or in the afternoon at 12.30 pm. Accompanied by your professional and enthusiastic guide, who will explain every unique feature of the area, you’ll venture into the heart of the mangrove forest and discover this truly unique and authentic natural environment. After travelling through Guadeloupe’s tropical water forest, at around 10.15 am or 2.45 pm, you’ll find yourself above the coral reef, ready to dive into the giant open-air aquarium of the Grand Cul de Sac Marin with the mask and snorkel provided. Late in the morning, around 11.30 am, or in the late afternoon, around 4 pm, you can enjoy some time to relax and unwind on one of the many white-sand islets, such as Îlet Blanc or Îlet La Biche in the Grand Cul de Sac Marin. A cocktail will be served there in a warm and friendly atmosphere, just as we do best in Guadeloupe. Return to Sainte-Rose around 1.00 pm or 5.30 pm with stars in your eyes and the rest of the day or evening to dream.

Merci Dylan. Des informations tout du long, cest captivant . Des coins de paradis, du snorking . On recommande ?
