Grand Cul-de-sac Marin Excursion – All-Inclusive Tour

At 7.30 am, you’ll receive a warm welcome at the Bas-du-Fort Marina, where your captain will serve you a welcome coffee. Then, at 8.00 am, cast off for a picturesque cruise, passing the Art Memorial and the Place de la Victoire, before heading out onto the Rivière Salée. You’ll sail through the mangrove channel, where your guide will explain the unique mangrove ecosystem and the wildlife that thrives there. First snorkelling stop: equipped with a mask and snorkel, you’ll explore a partially submerged shipwreck to observe corals and tropical fish. Next, head for Îlet de la Biche, where a second snorkelling session awaits you, allowing you to swim amongst the crystal-clear waters. You’ll then approach Îlet Caret for an aperitif and a delicious meal on board, overlooking the unspoilt landscape of this protected site. On the menu: tuna rillettes, raw vegetables, marinated chicken and Creole rice, served with water, fruit juice, rosé and planteur, followed by a homemade coconut flan and fruit for dessert. A final snorkelling stop at Pointe-Sable gives you the chance to admire the starfish. Enjoy one last moment of relaxation and music on board before returning to the Marina du Bas-du-Fort, with disembarkation scheduled for 4.30 pm, marking the end of this all-inclusive day. The Grand Cul-de-sac Marin is a protected area where no removal of marine life is permitted: it takes over 100 years for a coral to form, and even touching it can destroy it. A minimum of 8 participants is required for the trip to go ahead.
