BW Big Game Fishing – Hot Water Fishing

The ideal boat for a day’s big-game fishing. Eric, the skipper, will share his experience and passion for sport fishing with you on his comfortable boat, equipped with 5 rods and 2 teasers – just like in a competition. A sun awning to keep you in the shade and comfortable benches are also provided for VIP treatment.

Eric will offer you his advice and expertise to help you catch some fine specimens. You’ll have access to top-of-the-range tackle, with plenty for every angler, including 5 rods set up plus 2 teasers. The full range of equipment available consists of five 80lbs and 70lbs rods, and three 50lbs straight rods with Penn reels. Your captain will adapt the fishing method to the time of year during which you’re on your trip. In winter, trolling will be the order of the day, with stops at FADs to fish for sea bream. In summer, drift fishing for yellowfin tuna with live bait, jigging and sea bream fishing will be on the programme. He will also adapt to the group of anglers to maximise your chances of catching one of the many species present throughout the year (marlin, swordfish, tuna, blue marlin and dolphinfish). Please note that setting off from Bouillante has the advantage of allowing quick access to the fishing grounds, as well as generally calmer seas than on the Atlantic side. That said, those unaccustomed to the sea may wish to bring ‘Mercalm’ tablets to be prepared for any eventuality… With a maximum of just four participants and two crew members on a powerful, fully equipped boat, you’ll enjoy a memorable day as a VIP big-game angler and as an observer of the many cetaceans that may well pay you a visit… As you set off, Eric will make sure to leave you a portion of fish (depending on the catch) to cook, so that you can savour the fruits of all your efforts.
