The experience
Come and explore the north of Grande-Terre on a quad buggy and escape to a part of Guadeloupe that is still relatively unknown. You’ll set off to discover the remains of the island’s sugar industry and numerous exceptional sites that form part of Guadeloupe’s heritage. With quad buggies designed for off-road driving, you’ll venture off the beaten track, through sugar cane fields and banana plantations, for a truly unique excursion.
Starting from Bazin, Petit Canal, the route takes you to several exceptional sites that will allow you to take a step back in time to Guadeloupe’s past. Traverse dirt tracks and rocky paths, or ride along beautiful beaches on comfortable quad buggies, which are easy to drive thanks to their automatic gearboxes. The programme includes a visit to the slaves’ market and the ‘cursed fig tree’ mills, before leading to Souffleur Beach and Anse Maurice, where you can take a dip in the crystal-clear waters.

L’excursion était vraiment sympa dans l’ensemble. Le guide était gentil et agréable. J’ai particulièrement apprécié les explications du guide, qui nous a fait découvrir l’histoire et les particularités des différents lieux visités. Cependant, je reste quand même un peu sur ma faim, notamment parce que la pause plage prévue n’a finalement pas eu lieu. Je trouve surtout dommage de ne pas avoir été informée en amont.
