Nous avons passé une excellente sortie en bateau avec Florent. Sa parfaite connaissance de l’environnement et son engagement pour sa préservation, notamment en veillant à ne pas perturber la faune, ont rendu la sortie très interessante. Attentif et bienveillant, il nous a prodigué de nombreux conseils sur chaque site visité, en s’assurant de la sécurité notamment des enfants. Ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié : Un petit bateau, limitant le nombre de passagers (nous étions 8), contrairement aux embarcations plus fréquentées que nous avons croisées. Idéal pour une sortie en petit comité. Un guide local passionné, maîtrisant parfaitement les sites, la faune et la flore. Et pour conclure la matinée en beauté : une dégustation de rhum arrangé ! Une expérience à recommander sans hésitation !
L'expérience
Set off to explore the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin on a half-day excursion offering a real escape. Florent, your local guide, will take you to the region’s must-see sites whilst providing insights into the local flora and fauna. You’ll make your way through the mangrove swamp and stop for a spot of snorkelling above the coral reef.
Florent, your guide, will meet you at the car park at Sainte-Rose harbour for the start of the tour. After setting off, the first stop will be the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin coral reef, with a swimming stop at Îlet Caret. The perfect opportunity to admire surgeonfish, barracuda and various other species, particularly around the shipwreck lying just a few centimetres below the surface. Next, we’ll head to La Biche Islet, one of the most beautiful islets in the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin. The next stop is an exploration of the mangrove forest, a unique ecosystem which your guide will explain in detail. On the half-day tour, the programme focuses on these must-see highlights before returning to Sainte-Rose.

- Swimming and snorkelling (with mask and snorkel) on the coral reef (at the shipwreck or the spot known as ‘the pool’)
- Swimming stop at Caret Islet

- 12.15 or 5.00 pm: Return to the port of Sainte-Rose

Ce n’était pas Flo mais Lucas très sympa et professionnel qui répondait aux questions mais restait 3h au même endroit pour manger est trop long et trop d’alcool!!! Sinon une demi journée suffirait !
Superbe demi-journée! Excellente ambiance et bon capitaine, toujours dans la bonne humeur et le gout des bonnes choses.
