L'expérience

The trip to Petite Terre on Le MOLOK is an intimate and safe experience. An authentic excursion, with Fredo – a passionate Breton sailor and expert on Petite Terre – at the helm, who will help you discover all the island’s wonders. To round off the experience, an aperitif and a traditional Caribbean meal will be served under the coconut groves (subject to no restrictions)

Your boat will be waiting for you at the Saint-François marina at 7.00 am. After about twenty minutes’ sailing, you’ll pass Pointe des Châteaux, an iconic spot in Guadeloupe offering a unique landscape, before setting course for Petite Terre. It will take about twenty minutes to reach Petite Terre, which has been a nature reserve since 1998 due to the richness of its flora and fauna. Once on the island, you’ll be invited to take a short walk along the marked trails. The highlight is, of course, the lighthouse – aptly nicknamed the “Lighthouse at the End of the World” by the locals – where a mini-museum awaits to help you learn more about the site and its history. Throughout your visit, you’ll come across Lesser Antilles iguanas, green iguanas, hermit crabs that have colonised the beach, and many other species – your guides will be happy to provide you with all the information you need. The island also offers access to an exceptional lagoon for snorkelling (equipment not provided). You’ll then be able to enjoy the underwater treasures of the Caribbean Sea: lemon sharks, a variety of fish, rays, turtles and, if you’re lucky, even dolphins (on your way back) – offering a wide variety of potential encounters in a magnificent setting. You’ll enjoy an aperitif between swims and relaxing on Petite-Terre beach before dining under the coconut groves, with the day’s fresh catch as the star of the show.

  • Aperitif: planteur, ti-punch and fresh fruit juice from the garden
  • Starter: Fish rillettes
  • Main course: Fish blaf (local fish in sauce) and chicken served with tabbouleh
  • Dessert: Fresh fruit
