Your day with Sylvio, your skipper, will begin in a gentle and serene atmosphere. He’ll welcome you at 7.00 am at the fishing harbour for a clear and reassuring briefing before departure at 7.15 am. With him, everything runs smoothly and stress-free: a day’s holiday should begin at a leisurely pace, and this philosophy will see you through right until your return. The crossing takes place aboard a traditional ‘Saintoise’, the iconic vessel of Guadeloupe’s fishermen, specially fitted out here to meet passenger transport standards (NUC certification). An experienced skipper, Sylvio navigates with confidence and constantly ensures everyone’s comfort.
Once you arrive on the island, he’ll give you an introduction to Petite Terre, then invite you to a welcome drink accompanied by fresh fruit. For those who wish, Sylvio will guide you to the lighthouse for a guided tour: discover the flora and fauna, the Lesser Antilles iguanas and the natural treasures that make this exceptional reserve so unique.
A nature enthusiast, he shares anecdotes, explanations and advice in an engaging and educational way to help you better understand this fragile ecosystem.
After the walk, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the lagoon: go snorkelling at your leisure (snorkelling equipment not provided), and spot turtles, rays, lemon sharks and the many colourful fish that inhabit the reserve.
At around 11.30 am, it’s time for an aperitif – with or without alcohol – followed by a local meal consisting of a starter, grilled chicken or fish, Madras rice and a dessert. Coffee included.
The atmosphere is friendly, unpretentious and authentic, with respect for nature and everyone’s own pace.
The afternoon is devoted to relaxing, swimming and exploring the site at your leisure, always with Sylvio’s expert guidance. As a true connoisseur of Petite Terre, he knows just where to take you to observe marine life or enjoy the absolute tranquillity of this protected island.
At the end of the day, you’ll be amongst the last to leave the islets. The golden hues of the setting sun then provide one of the most beautiful moments of the day, when nature reclaims its place and the light further enhances the magic of this little paradise.
The return journey to Saint-François follows the rhythm of the sea, sometimes accompanied by dolphins if luck is on your side. A final peaceful crossing to round off a truly relaxing day of discovery and nature.

Petite terre, Le lieu où il faut absolument se rendre! Endroit magnifique, des iguanes partout, on nage avec les tortues! Transport avec le bateau Pouldo et son capitaine Sylvio très sympa, pas avare de conseils et qui connaît bien la mer et l histoire de petite terre. Une petite collation pour débuter et terminer cette demie journée qui restera dans nos mémoires bien longtemps !
Excursion en demi-journée Superbe excursion. Silvio prend beaucoup de temps pour donner des explications. Il est très sympathique. Nous étions ravis de cette escapade et avons été bien gâtés (fruits frais, verre d’accueil et petit apéro avant le retour).
Du début jusqu'à la fin Nicard, très professionnel, nous a parfaitement encadré. Il sait exactement de quoi il parle, il prend soin de ses clients. C'est à la fois une excursion très détendue mais aussi très pro. On sait senti en totale sécurité. Que du Bonheur. Nous vous recommandons cette sortie avec lui et sa superbe Saintoise. Bateau sportif (donc moins adapté aux jeunes enfants) mais au top pour rejoindre Petite Terre. Ma fille et moi craignons plutôt le bateau (mal de mer...) et bien là on s'est régalé. Demi-journée super, la mer était agitée mais Nicard a très bien navigé et on s’est senti en sécurité. Les iguanas sont vraiment impressionants et c’est un plaisir de les observer ainsi que les requins et tortues sur la plage absolument magnifique. Ti-Punch et planteur, jus, fruis fraits et baguette avec tapenade morue tout était délicieux. Merci pour cette merveilleuse expérience.
