A trip to Marie Galante with Adams

Set off to explore Marie Galante, an iconic island in the Guadeloupe archipelago. A complete change of scenery is guaranteed on this trip, which will allow you to see some of the most beautiful aspects of the ‘grande galette’!

The trip begins at the Saint-François marina, departing at 7.45 am. We recommend arriving at the boarding point 20 to 30 minutes before departure. After a crossing of 45 minutes to 1 hour, you’ll disembark at the port of Saint-Louis in Marie-Galante. Your guide on Marie-Galante, Jean-Marc, will be waiting for you in Saint-Louis and will take you on a tour to discover the island’s wonders. The programme runs throughout the morning and includes: a visit to the Habitation Murat and its botanical garden, a tour of a traditional distillery with tasting (in moderation, of course ;) and a visit to the ‘mare à punch’ with historical commentary. Once the morning is over, you’ll head to Folle Anse beach for an aperitif in an idyllic setting, surrounded by white sand and turquoise water. Homemade fish rillettes, fresh fruit and a homemade punch will be served before you sit down to eat. The meal includes barbecued chicken or fish, a Madras rice salad, a raw vegetable salad, planteur, red and rosé wine, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Don’t miss the famous coconut flan for dessert – it’s absolutely delicious! After the meal, you can enjoy Folle Anse beach before setting sail again towards Anse Canot, a little slice of paradise. It’s the perfect opportunity to take a dip in its crystal-clear waters and soak up the idyllic surroundings. But that’s not all – your captain will suggest a snorkelling stop at a spot ideal for spotting reef fish, a treat for young and old alike. All good things must come to an end, and it’s time to leave the ‘grande galette’ with your head full of all the beautiful sights you’ve seen throughout the day. Departure is scheduled for 3.30 pm from Marie-Galante, arriving at 4.30 pm in Saint-François.
