A trip to Les Saintes with Adams

The adventure begins at Saint-François marina, where you’ll board at 7.15 am for a scheduled departure at 7.30 am. A crossing of around 1 hour 30 minutes will take you to Terre de Haut, where you’ll be free to explore the island at your own pace. The tranquil and picturesque atmosphere of the village invites you to stroll through its narrow streets and explore its little shops, brimming with local culture. You have until midday to explore the island as you please, choosing between a minibus tour, an electric car or a scooter (cost not included). The majestic Fort Napoléon (€7) will reveal its captivating history and treat you to a breathtaking view of the bay. At midday, it’s time to board the boat for a new destination, this time heading towards the famous Pain de Sucre. You’ll enjoy your lunch on board whilst admiring the spectacular view of this volcanic hill, which stands over 52 metres high. A swim is a must, allowing you to explore the seabed teeming with marine life. The menu includes homemade fish rillettes, banana chips, fish tartare, BBQ-grilled chicken, tabbouleh, fresh vegetables, fruit and a homemade coconut flan. Red wine, rosé, water, juice and planteur are included. Your guide will then take you to Terre de Bas, where seagrass beds offer a unique chance to spot sea turtles whilst snorkelling. Around 3.15 pm, it’s time to head back. Caribbean music sets the pace for the return journey, enhanced by a dazzling sunset over the sea. Arrival in Saint-François is scheduled for around 5.00 pm, bringing to a close a day that will leave you with unforgettable memories of the charms of Les Saintes.
