Thanks to the presence of the Soufrière volcano, Guadeloupe – particularly the Basse-Terre region – boasts numerous hot springs where visitors can relax in water at the perfect temperature.
Set off on an adventure

You have two options: join an organised tour, or set off to explore on your own in a hire car. The areas around Bouillante, Gourbeyre and the National Park often involve a walk through lush vegetation.
After all that hard work, a bit of a treat

- Bains Jaunes: situated at an altitude of 950 m on the Soufrière trail, a natural pool made of volcanic rock dating from 1887, with slightly sulphurous water at 28°C
- Bassin Paradis: a natural pool at 39°C on the Grosse Corde river, in Capesterre-Belle-Eau, accessible via a steep descent
- Bain des Amours: a heart-shaped pool at 30°C, near the Trois-Rivières departmental road
- Dolé public pond: water at 30°C, a waterwheel and vegetation, 2 km from the Capés bottling plant
- Thomas Spring: a coastal hot spring in Bouillante (around 80°C), surrounded by rocks
