Paradoxe Catamaran - Marie Galante

The 25-meter-long Paradoxe catamaran, which can hold up to 45 passengers, will make you discover Marie Galante every Thursday in an all-inclusive package.

Activity details

Depart from the Saint-François marina at 7:30 for a wind-propelled crossing that lasts about 2 hours.

Disembark at the Anse Canot, near Saint-Louis, a wonderful beach that is well-sheltered, bordered by coconut trees and baygrapes. Anse Canot is one the island’s least dangerous beaches, ideal for children to swim in.

This will be followed by a 2-hour-and-30-minute long tour of the island on an air-conditioned bus. Along with a local guide, you will discover the Murat, formerly a coffee factory in the 18th century, converted into a sugar factory at the beginning of the 19th century under the orders of Dominique Murat. With its 207 slaves, it was the biggest sugarcane plantation in Guadeloupe.

After visiting the Murat, you will then get to visit a rum distillery before going to the Anse Canot for a fish barbecue.

You can then loll on the beach and enjoy the crystalline waters to finish your day with a dip and tanning.

The trip back, planned for 16:00, will allow you to take advantage of a smooth crossing with the warm colors of the sunset on Basse Terre in the background. For rum lovers, you will get to taste tropical fruit flavored rum with local music at the back of the boat.

The Paradoxe is located on the north side of the Saint-François marina, opposite the “Les Artistes” restaurant. The office is also located on the north side of the marina and is accessible via the Avenue de l’Europe, which goes along the Golf de St-François, 200m to your right after you pass the Super U.

Important ! We ask our passengers to be at our office (and not the boat) at 7:00 to pay for the service before boarding.
