Goyave, a town known for its fishing, aquaculture and agriculture, is entirely focused on nature. Three-quarters of its territory is covered in forest. At the end of a wonderful hike through the heart of the tropical forest, you’ll be rewarded with a view of the Moreau Falls. You can then take a dip there and enjoy the surroundings. The Bras-Du-Fort waterfall is also a magical spot for those who love to relax in the heart of the forest. Similarly, the Jardin d’Eau de Blonzac, an 8-hectare park certified as an ecotourism site by the Guadeloupe National Park, offers a wide range of activities such as swimming in the river, exploring the flora and fauna, and various nature-based and sporting activities such as canoeing and kayaking, etc.
In Goyave, you’ll also discover Anse de Sable and the heart-shaped Ilet Fortune, a protected site with no treasures other than those offered by nature itself... the ‘Orchard of 1,000 Fruits’ and Eiffel-style bridges nestled in the heart of lush natural surroundings.
