Departure from Saint-François marina at 8 am, sailing past Pointe des Châteaux and arriving at the islet of Petite Terre after a 1½-hour cruise. After disembarking on the beach, you’ll be offered a guided tour of the island lasting around 45 minutes. You’ll then be able to enjoy the unique flora and fauna of this little paradise, including its famous endemic iguanas. The guide will give a brief overview of the islet’s history and that of its lighthouse. An aperitif of local punch and fruit juice will be served on your return from the tour. For those staying on board, please note that unlimited refreshments are available throughout the day. This will be followed by lunch: fish fillets en papillote served with Madras rice. Fresh fruit for dessert. Sheltered beneath the coconut palms, you can stroll around, relax or even take a ‘nap’ at your leisure. For the more active among you, exploring the lagoon’s riches with a mask and snorkel is highly recommended, given the many species of fish and turtles that live there. A simple swim in these crystal-clear waters is also a wonderful way to enjoy the lagoon’s splendid scenery. The catamaran will return to Saint-François at 5.30 pm after a gentle crossing, sailing with the wind under spinnaker (downwind). Rum lovers will be invited to the stern of the boat for a tasting featuring passion fruit (maracuja), guava, coconut and other tropical fruits, all accompanied by local music. Meanwhile, passengers seeking a bit of peace and quiet can relax on the hammocks at the bow of the boat. The luckiest among them may even be joined by dolphins, which sometimes add to the unique atmosphere of this twilight return journey.

Une superbe sortie à Petite Terre en catamaran ! Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec trois skippers au top, attentionnés, professionnels et vraiment aux petits soins avec nous. Une très belle ambiance, de magnifiques paysages, et un repas copieux les pieds dans le sable. Tout était réuni pour passer une journée parfaite !
